When my dad and I first began discussing ideas for his website, it occurred to me that it would be fun to actually interview my dad and put that interview on his website. Friends of mine sometimes remark how interesting it is that my dad writes childrens books. I did not always realize that growing up because some of my earliest memories involve my father writing his books and reading them to my family and I just assumed that my dad was always meant to be a writer.
When we were younger, and even now, my dad would ask my brother Glenn and I to comment on his ideas. When my dad first started on a book, my brother and I got to see the entire process from beginning to end, from his early drafts and "dummies" to the final versions of his books. Sometimes we even accompanied my dad on his school and bookstore visits. It really was great to see him in action and as my dad has been writing for so many years now, I realize that I have a lot of questions for him.
