One of my biggest thrills was to see The Cow That Went Oink published in a Spanish language edition.  I enjoyed seeing how the different animal sounds were translated from English to Spanish.

For example, "moo" becomes "muu."  "Hee-haw" becomes "ji jaaa."  "Baaa" becomes "beee."   "Cock-a-doodle-doo" becomes "kikirikiii."

Interestingly, the only animal sound that is the same in both English and Spanish is "oink."  I found that amusing!
